The brief was to create artwork using a dramatic, premium and cinematic style to capture the intensity and prestige of the event.

The focus is sharp on the horse’s face and the jockey’s expression, whilst a blurred line of top hats—a signature fashion staple of Royal Ascot—appears at the bottom, creating a 'crowd's-eye view' that puts the viewer directly at the rail.
