Vera

Promotional artwork for the British crime drama Vera, featuring Brenda Blethyn as DCI Vera Stanhope.

I wanted to showcase a portrait of Brenda Blethyn, wearing Vera’s signature rumpled trench coat, scarf, and bucket hat. Her expression is contemplative which is characteristic of her no-nonsense and observant detective persona.

The dark background and title treatment gave the artwork a premium look.
